A LIFESAVING charity received a generous boost to their funds on Saturday courtesy of the Beaufort Hunt.
The £1000 donation was given to Wiltshire Air Ambulance by the Duke of Beaufort's son, the Marquess of Worcester - he presented the cheque to air ambulance volunteers Anne Hooper and Douglas Looman.
A spokesperson for the hunt spoke of why Wiltshire Air Ambulance is such a vital emergency service.
"All of us are grateful for the wonderful work done by the air ambulance, particularly in rural areas where speed is of the essence following accidents or illness," they said.
The donations came from the proceeds of the Hunt Supporters Club Horse Show, which is held every August on the Badminton Estate.
