Tweedy the clown will enter the world of Aladdin for Gloucestershire's 'biggest and best' pantomime.

The annual show will come to the Everyman Theatre in a brand-new production written and directed by Blue Peter legend, Peter Duncan.

Chief executive of the theatre, Mark Goucher said: "We all look forward to a pantomime at Christmas and this year we really have pulled out all the stops.

"Tweedy the clown will be leading the mayhem and we've already sold more than 20,000 tickets this year, so it is set to be a fantastic show."

This year Aladdin will take place between Friday, November 30 and Sunday, January 13 at the Everyman Theatre in Regent Street, Cheltenham.

Tickets are on sale for as cheap as £5 from everymantheatre.org.uk
