The M48 Severn Bridge has reopened in both directions.
It was closed eastbound between junctions 1 and 2 due to strong winds.
Earlier today the bridge was also temporarily closed westbound for emergency repairs to be made to a lamp column.
The bridge is a set to be closed eastbound overnight tonight (Wednesday, November 28) from 7pm-6am.
This is to allow maintenance work to be carried out.
Diversions will be in place via the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge but drivers are recommended to allow extra time their journey.
There will be disruption on both bridges from December 14 as work begins to remove the tolls.
