Chipping Sodbury Rotary Club have been thanked by a support group in the area.
The club regularly support events throughout Sodbury and contribute to community groups, with Chipping Sodbury Dementia Support Group being one that has benefitted from the Rotarians.
The CSDSG is a newly formed organisation that is co-ordinated by Jacki Hebblethwaite.
It was started by a grant from South Gloucestershire Council with the Rotary Club helping ever since.
Jacki revealed that she was extremely grateful to the club.
"Chipping Sodbury Rotary, together with the Inner Wheel Club, has been totally supportive," she said.
"Their help has been fantastic. As well as Rotarians, we also receive help from lots of different people, so it’s very much a community event."
The group help those suffering with dementia by organising a number of events.
Their next tea dance is on January 30, next year.
