A SHORT film shot in Gloucestershire is to be screened in Thornbury this week.
Airborne, written and directed by local film maker Joey Beard, will be shown at Thornbury Picture House (TPH) in the Cossham Hall on Friday, December 7.
The film is a coming of age drama following a girl’s ambition to be a pilot and the problems she faces in what is usually regarded as a man’s world.
It stars Alina Foster Flaherty and Freddie Turner.

The December screening at TPH is a celebration evening with hot fruit punch and festive nibbles.
Airborne will be followed by the feature film Lost in Paris, a light comedy about an accident prone Canadian who visits Paris to care for an elderly relative. It stars writer/directors Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon.
Tickets at the door are £5 and doors open at 7pm for the7.30pm screening.
