The Chipping Sodbury Big Lunch team overcame a small hiccup to deliver another fantastic event for the elderly in the area.
For the last five years, the event has been providing lonely and elderly residents of Chipping Sodbury and surrounding areas an opportunity to enjoy their Christmas lunch with other people.
This year was no different, with around 50 people being brought to the Masonic Hall near the High Street.
When there the guests enjoyed music and some games, they also received gifts from Father Christmas himself!
In the end the event went really well, however it could all have gone wrong when the fuses blew and the building lost electricity.
Fortunately Nick Cragg contacted electrician Wayne Stone, of S.T.One, who came out and fixed the problem before all of the guests food went cold!
Celebrating its fifth anniversary the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
