A HOST of 250 angels has descended on Cam.
They first appeared at the start of the month, delighting children who spotted them as they walked to school on Monday, December 3.
The initiative, run by St George’s and St Cyr’s, has seen the woollen angels placed around the parish for passers-by to pick up and take home. Each angel has been hand-knitted.
Rev Fiona Crocker said: “A wonderful army of knitters have been knitting away since August and we have hidden 250 angels across our Benefice.
"I visited both Cam Everlands and Cam Hopton primary schools and prepared them to be on the lookout.
"It's been a lovely cross-generational meeting," she added.
"Some of our older parishioners love knitting them, and the mums and children love finding them."
“Each angel carries an invitation to our Christmas Eve Crib services, which are at St Cyr’s at 3pm and St George’s at 5pm.”
