BEARD Construction presented eco-warrior, Heather Kent, aged 10 from Fairford, with 10 litter pickers, 10 hi-viz waistcoats and 10 sets of gloves on December 11 to help her continue with her litter pick campaign.
The Fairford Primary School pupil has been part of the eco-warrior scheme at Fairford Primary School for over two years and is passionate about keeping her home town free from litter and plastic.
Earlier in the year Fairford Town Council awarded her the Albert Alder Award for her environmental pursuits around Fairford and the Ernest Cook Trust made her a Young Ambassador for Fairford at Fairford Festival.
She thanked the construction firm for helping her to continue her campaign.
She said:"I want to say a huge thank you to them for their generosity but also for giving up some time to help me and my litter picking helpers at school with a litter pick afterwards.
Together we can make a difference."
