STAFF at The Falcon Steakhouse in Wotton under Edge are celebrating after winning two Cotswolds food awards.
The Falcon was nominated in the ‘Best Dinner’ category at the Cotswolds Eats Awards at the start of the month.
But it went on to scoop not only the ‘Best Dinner’ title, but the ‘Top Place’ award too.
Chef and manager at the Falcon, Andrew Starling, said he was delighted with the result.
“We love winning awards here at the Falcon, and we love them even more when they are public vote ones.
“We want to thank all of you guys who voted for us, Christmas has literally come early.
“I’m really proud and pleased for the whole team, who all work really hard.”
The Falcon serves steaks ranging from 7oz sirloin all the way up to 50oz rump.
The majority of the meat is sourced from a family-run farm, less than 10 miles from the restaurant.
