Thornbury Sea Cadets have been given awards at their annual presentation evening.
Lt Neil Williams RNR welcomed families to the event on Monday, December 17.
The group was awarded a pennant in recognition of a successful inspection earlier in the year.
Cadets were also awarded badges for courses they had passed, with two picking up the Endeavour Award having been nominated by members of staff.
The evening finished with carol singing and a visit from Santa
Thornbury Sea Cadets aged 10-18 meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7-9pm.
They take part in various activities on the water, on land and in the unit with the aim of providing young people with boundaries in which they can thrive by valuing the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.
The group is currently looking to recruit some new members.
