There is more bad news for Thornbury's Castle School after burglars broke in causing 'extensive damage'.
Police were called to the Park Road school last night (Monday, December 31).
According to police extensive damage was caused to an area within the school.
Anyone with information should contact the police on 101.
The break in follows two arson attacks in the last month, one at the school's main site and one at the sixth form.
On Christmas Eve a gazebo used by special educational needs students was burned down.
A similar attack on December 14 on the school's the sixth form saw an outdoor building which housed two classrooms set on fire.
In the wake of the Christmas Eve fire a fundraising page has been set up.
