Thornbury Christmas Lights Association (TCLA) has announced the fundraising total from this years event.
More than £750 has been raised for Thornbury Welcomes, a group set up last year by former mayor Councillor Helen Harrison to make the town a more inclusive and welcome place.
A spokeswoman for TCLA said: "As we start the process of taking down the Christmas Lights for another year, we are delighted to announce that the switch-on event raised an incredible £780.56 for Thornbury Welcomes!
"We want to thank Albert Rogers, our fair ground organiser, for entertaining the crowds, as always and for his considerable donation. As well as the whole community for your generosity and continued support throughout the whole festive period!"
Briony Williams, star of The Great British Bake Off, was tasked with switching on the lights at an event on November 20.
Volunteers from TCLA spent months preparing for the event, giving up their Sunday mornings to build more than 90 displays.
