An apprentice who recently spoke to the Gazette about his delight over being named in the top 100 manufacturers of the year has praised his former Yate college.
Ben Townsend, 21, was included in The Manufacturer's Top 100 awards and attended an event at Exhibition Centre in Liverpool.
He has now praised his former college in Yate for the work they did in helping him to achieve his dream of becoming successful in the industry.
"I am grateful for all the time and effort that has been spent on me from both my company, Advanced Insulation, and my college, BEMA," he said.
"A development in skill bought an upsurge in confidence and I found satisfaction in an industry which can be truthfully rewarding."
BEMA Collge is based on Stover Road in Yate and recommended Ben for regional and national EEF Awards which he subsequently won.
