Saturday's Parkrun at the Mundy Playing Fields in Thornbury will be a landmark occasion, in more ways than one.
The town is holding its 50th parkrun just over a year since holding its first.
During this time the event has averaged almost 100 runners.
To celebrate the milestone organisers of the 5km run are encouraging participants to wear red, the colour of the shirt given to those who have taken part in 50 parkruns.
The Thornbury parkrun is also taking part in the first FERC meet-up.
Fetch Everyone is a virtual community of runners, swimmers and cyclists.

Saturday's run will begin at 9pm.
