The Co-op in Thornbury is looking for groups that would benefit from their unsold food.
Charities, clubs and other organisations are invited to apply for food as part of the supermarket's FoodShare scheme.
To become a Food Share Partner organisations must commit to regularly collecting food from the store and use it to feed people in the community.
The scheme is only open to not-for-profit organisations who are registered as a food premise with their local authority.
Approved partners can collect surplus food within two hours of closing time.
It is also possible to collect products the following morning which are in good condition and carry a best before date.
