Firefighters worked hard through the night to tackle a blaze at a barn in Thornbury.
Crews attended an incident at around 20.00pm, on Mumbleys Lane near Kington Lane.
On their Twitter page, Thornbury Fire Station said: "As #OnCall week comes to an end we were called out last night. First to an electrical fire involving in a plug and then to a barn fire."
Avon Fire and Rescue Service also revealed the fire was being investigated: "At 19.52pm, crews from Thornbury and Patchway attended an incident where a three bay barn was on fire.
"In the barn was over two tonnes of hay.
"The fire was allowed to burn out through the night, with Avon and Somerset Police also in attendance.
"A joint investigation by us and police has now started to determine the cause of the fire."
This follows on from a number of arson attacks at Castle School over recent weeks.
One witness said that it was lucky the fire was brought under control quickly as there was houses nearby.
