There could be a big expansion in line for Yate Heritage Centre in the future.

The centre, that is aided in running by Yate Town Council is looking to expand so it can host more exhibitions in the future.

David Hardill, the centre manager said: "Having built a lively heritage service for the people of the area, with regular events, exhibitions, education sessions and a growing history collection we are unable to contain everything in our small building and the time has come to create something which befits our exciting plans for the future".

Residents are encouraged to visit the centre to see the proposed changes and have their say between 15-19 January at 10.30am-4.30pm.
