Alveston Methodist Church
It is often said that fings ain't what they used to be.
Alveston residents now have the opportunity to find out whether or not that is true.
Professor Peter Fleming from University of the West of England is holding a talk next week entitled 'fings ain't what they used to be - 15th century Bristolians'.
This is at Alveston Local History Group's next meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday, January 23.
The meeting will be held at Alveston Methodist Church.
Visitors are welcome with tickets £2.50 on the door.
