STAFF at a community centre in Cam are encouraging members of the community to come along to a special Burns lunch on Wednesday, January 23.
Lunch guests will be treated to a hearty three-course meal, hosted by the GL11 community group at their centre in Fairmead.
The lunchtime social event is a celebration of the life and enduring legacy of the great Scottish poet Robert Burns, ahead of Burns night on Friday, January 25.
Wednesday's meal will be served from 12pm, and the menu features cock-a-leekie soup, faggots and gravy with neeps and tatties, or salmon and tatties and broccoli, with cranachan for pudding.
