A CHEF who started a takeaway pizza business in his back garden is now serving up his tasty treats in pubs too.
Two years ago, Dylan Cappinni-Smith built his very own wood-fired oven in his Uley garden.
At first he began hosting pizza parties for his friends and family, and then last year he decided to turn his cooking into a business.
“It was something I’ve always wanted to do and, coming from an Italian family, I’ve always grown up around good Italian food, especially pizza,” he said.
In June, he started firing up the oven every Friday night, and offering a pizza delivery service in the local area.
The business proved so popular that Dylan began thinking of ways in which he could expand it.
The solution came when he was looking for work in his other area of expertise.
As well as being a chef, Dylan does traditional sign writing.
And when driving past the Old Fox at Coaley he noticed that their signage was in need of an update.
He popped in, got the job of updating the signs, and got a regular slot making his delicious pizzas at the weekends too.
Dylan's pizzas are now available at the Old Fox on Fridays and Saturdays, and at the Old Spot Inn, in Dursley, every Wednesday and Thursday.
