Firefighters' unusual rescue
Firefighters have been called out by the RSPCA to release a trapped bird in Yate.
The bird had been trapped under a house’s fascia board – the long straight board that board that runs along the lower edge of the roof.
Despite the bird being rescued, Yate Fire Station said this morning its injuries were too severe for it to survive.
