Fire crews responded to a call in Yate earlier this morning.
However upon arrival, firefighters discovered it was a false alarm but decided to stay on and deliver some advice.

Crews from Yate Fire Station have been busy recently, last week they had to respond to a call with the RSPCA after a bird was trapped in a house fascia board.
Unfortunately on that occasion the bird did not survive after suffering severe injuries.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service rsponded to 5,775 false alarm calls last year.
