Cannabis with a street value of up to £300,000 was seized in Cheltenham yesterday.
Police officers made an arrest after the force crime operations team discovered 208 cannabis plants in a large-scale production on Monday, February 4.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 44-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of the production of class B drugs and remains in custody at this time.
"Support group officers, who specialise in serious and organised crime, carried out an intelligence led drugs warrant at a property on New Street in Cheltenham."
The officers also found a further 152 plants at another property nearby.
