Sodbury Town Council have paid tribute after one of their councillors passed away.

Cllr Jack Gough represented the North East Ward alongside Cllr Allen, Mayor James Ball, Cllr O’Rourke and Cllr Smith.

Cllr Gough had served on the council for four years after being elected in 2015.

In a statement the council said: “The town council was really saddened to hear about the emotional passing of Jack Gough.

“Our thoughts are with Jack’s family at this difficult time.”
