Do you think your dog has what it takes to be a star of the stage?

Northavon Youth Theatre Company are looking for two local dogs to play the roles of Bruiser and Rufus in their upcoming production of Legally Blonde The Musical.

For the part of Bruiser they are looking for a Chihuahua or similar looking lap dog, whereas Bruiser is a bullish and robust looking dog. In the film he is played by a British Bulldog but the part is open to other breeds.

Ideally dogs will be relaxed, good with people and responsive to commands.

Previous stage experience is welcome but not essential.

If you feel your dog has what it takes email dogauditions@NorthavonDrama.co.uk to get an application form.

Forms must be submitted by February 19.

Auditions will be held at St Mary’s Church Hall, Thornbury, from 3.30-5 pm on Saturday, February 23.

Performances of Legally Blonde The Musical are taking place at the Armstrong Hall from April 17-20.

You can get tickets from NYTC.co.uk or by calling the box office on 07980543691.
