HUNDREDS of runners descended on Dursley this weekend for the return of the Dursley Dozen.

Sunday saw competitors tackle the multi-terrain race, which covers 12 miles over roads, hillsides, open country, mud and solid rock.

Now in its 30th year, the Dursley Dozen is established as one of the toughest off-road races around.

This amazing aerial footage gives a bird's eye view of some of the action:

Many thanks to GLOBAL TV UK for the footage.
