The Friends of Kingsgate Park have revealed that they are increasing the price of their duck and swan seed bags to 50p.
The bags which are frequently available from the Vintage Birdcage Cakery next to the park are produced by the Friends Of group.
They have proved very popular, selling out fast regularly with all money made going straight back in to the park.
On their Facebook the group said: "The red bench in the winter garden will soon be joined by a wheelchair friendly picnic table, both bought with money raised, as well as grants.
"Plants will appear when the time comes to go planting.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported us since April 2017 when we first embarked on this project not realising just how it would take off."
The group have their first meeting on Monday March 4 at 7.30pm. It is taking place at The Pop Inn Cafe next to Yate Leisure Centre.
Anybody is welcome to go along and talk about the plans for the park, the annual Easter Egg Hunt will be high on the agenda.
