The volunteers at Chipping Sodbury Parkrun get to see an awful lot, however what occurred on Saturday might take the top spot.
One runner accidentally flushed her car keys down the toilet after finishing her run.
The fact she lived in Stroud made matter even worse!
The Parkrun team posted on their page: "Our Hint of the week...
"Do not flush your car key down the loo especially if you live in Stroud!
"Kath McNealey managed to get a lift back home from Andy Airey to pick up the spare then back to Chipping Sodbury Parkrun."
"Mind you she did get a personal best on her 16th event.
"Do you know how tough it is not making toilet based jokes about this?"
The Parkrun is an event that takes place at The Ridings Playing Fields every Saturday.
It involves participants completing a 5km circuit of the field.
The event is free for anyone and is usually frequented by well over 300 runners.
Anybody can sign up for the event online.
