Does your dog have what it takes to be a model?

If so, a hotel in Wotton under Edge would love to hear from you.

The Swan is on the lookout for a dog who has got that certain special something, to feature in a national advert.

The ad will appear on dogfriendly.co.uk, promoting the hotel as a place that welcomes dogs as well their owners.

To enter, all you have to do visit the Swan's Facebook page and post a picture of your pooch in the comments.

The winner will receive a free all inclusive nights stay at the hotel for two people and their pet.

The competition shortlist will be announced next week.

So far the post has been viewed over one million times and has received 7,843 shares, 14,000 comments full of cute dog pics and over 2,000 likes.

David Jackson, who works with the Swan Hotel, came up with the idea.

He said "What an amazing amount of photos we have received.

"All of the staff here will help out to make sure every dog is considered - we've already spotted a few favourites."

The deadline is midnight tonight (February 15), so don't delay.
