An Upper Rissington motorist was found to be almost twice over the legal drink-drive limit, a court heard.
Simon Brown, 34, of Barnes Wallis Way, Upper Rissington, was stopped by police in his VW Passat near his home on January 25.
He admitted drink-driving when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on Wednesday, February 14.
Magistrates banned Brown from driving for 18 months, fined him £400 and ordered him to pay £85 prosecution costs.
