Bikes and tools have been stolen in two burglaries in Thornbury.

Police were called just after 1am on Sunday, February 10 to a report of a burglary in Charles Close, Thornbury.

Thieves had broken into a detached garage to steal two bicycles. It’s believed the burglary happened between 3pm and 10pm the previous day.

The stolen bikes are a Marin Terra ladies’ hybrid and a Charge 2014 road bike.

A shed in Swallow Park had also been broken into overnight.

The theft was discovered after a dog walker found some of the stolen tools in nearby Osprey Park.
