Fast food giant Mcdonald's is to join KFC in leaving Cribbs Causeway.
The store will close in under three weeks time on March 9.
A spokesman said: "The decision to close the restaurant was not taken lightly, all members of staff have been made aware and will be offered employment in other nearby restaurants.”
KFC will also close its store at the end of March.
A spokesman said: "We’re currently in consultation with our team members at the restaurant and we’re aiming to offer all of them roles across our other Bristol restaurants."
Fast food lovers need not despair however, McDonald's has two other stores just outside The Mall, whereas KFC has a shop at The Venue nearby.
A spokesman for The Mall at Cribbs Causeway hinted that the restaurants could soon be replaced.
"A vibrant mix of restaurants is very important for The Mall, and we are welcoming new brands Chopstix and local favourite Chandos Deli to Cribbs Causeway.
"We look forward to announcing more exciting names in the near future,” they said.
