Women who have shaped South Gloucestershire's past, and those who are shaping its future will be sharing their stories at a special International Women's Day event today.
Taking place from 1pm, at University of the West of England in Bristol, it is part of UWE's Inspiring women: the legacy of the First World War in South Gloucestershire Project.
How much has changed for women in the last century will be considered, alongside a look to the future to think about how to ensure a positive future for young women.
The audience will hear the stories of inspiring women who have shaped the area.
And young women from local schools will talk about what it is like to be a young woman now.
Everyone is welcome to come along.
