Spring is here and with it some incredibly cute baby animals. Here are six of the best places to see them.

Butts Farm

Location: Butts Farm Rare Breeds, Cricklade Road, South Cerney

The farm has rare and traditional breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry.

There is bottle feeding of the lambs, bunny cuddling, animal feeding, animal handling and more.

Tractor safaris, where visitors can see and feed the animals in the fields around the farm, are also available.

Prinknash Bird and Deer Park

Gazette Series:

Location: Prinknash Park, Cranham

Visitors are able to watch animals being fed each day.

This includes waterfowl, ducklings, cage and aviary birds, reindeer and kookaburras.

Other animals in the park include pygmy goats and miniature donkeys.

The park is open from 10am-5pm each day. Tickets start at £7.10

Cattle Country Farm Park

Location: Berkeley Heath Farm, Berkeley

Visitors can get up close and personal with all types of farmyard animals.

There are calves, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and an alpaca called Jeremy.

Activities such as, calf/lamb feeding and small animal handling take place throughout the day.

Birdland

Location: Rissington Road, Bourton-on-the-Water

You can watch pelicans, penguins and flamingoes being fed and in the Hatchery you can see hatching eggs and chicks take their first steps.

As well as birds there are snakes, lizards and poisonous frogs.

The park is open daily from 10am. Tickets are £9.95 for adults and £6.95 for children.

Wild Place Project

Location: Blackhorse Hill, Bristol

The wildlife park features everything from the mischievous lemurs of Madagascar to the striking grey wolves of Europe.

A new exhibit will soon see bears reintroduced to the park’s ancient woodland.

The park is open daily from 10am-4pm. Tickets are £9.95 for adults and £8.50 for children.

Cotswold Wildlife Park

Location: Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, Burford

There a more than 260 different species here from farmyard animals to big cats and everything in between.

‘Animal encounters’ are also on offer, allowing you to get up close to giant tortoises or giraffes.

There is also a children’s farmyard.

The park is open daily. Standard tickets are £16 or £10.50 for children.
