Stroud pupils are set to strike again tomorrow to protest against climate change, according to Extinction Rebellion.
The eco-activists say students from schools around Stroud will be joining pupils across the UK who are marching out of lessons.
More than 200 took part in strikes in Stroud last month as part of the UK-wide Youth Strike 4 Climate, a day of action for young people and children.
They are planning to march from the anti-slavery arch at Archway School at 11am, going past Stroud High School and Marling, on to Wallbridge Lock opposite the Ecotricity HQ.
Inspiration comes from a young Swedish girl named Greta Thunberg, who started the first school strike outside her country's parliament over inaction on climate change.
She has gone on to give a speech at the UN in December, telling the COP24 conference: "If a few children can get headlines all over the world for not going to school, then imagine what we could do together if we really wanted to."
