We're now reporting live on gale and flood alerts in Herefordshire
RIVER levels on the Wye have risen and flood alerts have been issued.
They are still in place today (Saturday).
The Environment Agency says levels are up at Bredwardine following heavy rainfall.
Consequently, flooding is expected to continue.
Flooding is affecting low-lying land and roads along the river Wye from Hay-on-Wye to Ross-on-Wye.
Other places that may be affected include the A438 between Letton and Willersey, Byford, Bredwardine and Hereford.

Road closures and diversions on the main A438 may be in force.
River levels are due to rise again later today and are expected to remain high until Sunday.
River levels are also high but steady at Lugwardine. Flooding is affecting low-lying land and roads to the river Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford.
Other places that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next two days.
Caban Coch Dam in the Elan Valley, Powys, is in full flow, with water that is making its way down to Monmouth, Ross and Hereford.
The Environment Agency is advising drivers to plan routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
