EVER thought about becoming part of an airline cabin crew?

Well now's your chance to give it a go.

Emirates are seeking new crew members in Gloucestershire and the airline has announced a recruitment day at the Hallmark Hotel in Gloucester.

The role is seen by many as one of the most glamorous jobs going, where travelling the world is all in a day's work.

And flying with the Dubai-based airline brings other benefits too, including free accommodation in the firm's home city.

If that's something that interests you or you're looking for a new career direction, then the recruitment open day could be well worth a visit.

According to the airline, cabin crew are offered an employment package which includes a tax-free income, free high standard shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to/from work, medical and dental cover as well as discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.

Applicants don't need previous experience, but they do have to be at least 21 years of age at the time of joining and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes.

The cabin crew recruitment open day is on Saturday, March 23 at 9am at the Hallmark Hotel Gloucester; Marlstone Close, Robinswood Hill, Gloucester, GL4 6EA.

Anyone interested should pop along at 9am with an up-to-date CV in English and a recent photograph. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Candidates will need to come prepared to spend the full day at the venue if required.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed of timings for further assessments and interviews.
