Children at a primary school in Thornbury went the extra mile on Friday to raise money for Comic Relief.
Pupils at St Mary's School took part in a high-intensity interval training session featuring star jumps, high knees and a variety of other exercises.
Money was also made by children wearing non-uniform in the theme of ‘what I want to be when I’m older’ and by donating for a painted on red nose.
More than £125 has been raised, with donations still coming in.
The session was put on by Kate Maskell and Angela Ashton, and was the third year the pair have held a session for the school.
Kate and Angela lead Thornbury's Run Together group.
A National England Athletics initiative to get people running, the group meets every Friday during term town at the gates of the school. People of all abilities are welcome to attend the free sessions.
