RE PAGE 7 of February 27, edition – council taxpayers to pay more, writes A Wyatt.
The Police and Crime Commissioner has raised the police share of council tax by a massive 10 per cent.
One can only hope that the public (who voted in the Commissioner) can see some tangible results from this investment.
Is it too much to ask for more evidence of police on our streets, or even a reduction in crime?
Or maybe the extra cash will be used to ‘empire build’ by the Police and Crime Commission.
