Emergency services have revealed that they attended an incident involving a 'hazardous' area last weekend.
Numerous police cars and ambulances were seen in Chipping Sodbury High Street at around 9pm on Sunday evening, March 17.
Now, after some investigation police and the ambulance service have released a statement revealing more information about the incident.
The incident was led by the medical team, with a spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service saying: "We were called on Sunday at 8.57pm about an incident on Chipping Sodbury High Street.
"We sent various resources to attend the incident, including a hazardous area response team. One patient was taken by ambulance to hospital."
Hazardous Area Response Teams are made up of paramedics that have undergone specialised training.
Whilst they are trained to attend incidents of a hazardous nature they can also act as paramedics on more regular calls.
