The Mop Fair is an iconic part of Sodbury’s history.
Many generations have attended the event that takes place twice a year, in March and in September, with a whole range of things on offer for people to enjoy.
This year was no different, with thousands attending the High Street.
The fair has rides, stalls and plenty of other attractions.
Chipping Sodbury based photographer Rich McD attended the event, as did the Gazette photographer Steve Richards.
Between the pair of them they got some fantastic photos that really capture what the event is all about.
Chair of Sodbury Town Council, Cllr Phil Rumney recently said of the fair: “It’s just another example of what Sodbury is all about.
“It takes over but if it is well attended it is good for the community.”
“But it grows every year, the rides and scale of the event has just got bigger every year.”
