A NEW coffee shop is set to open in Cirencester next month, and staff are confident that it will have a wide appeal.
The Coffee House, which is due to open in the third week of April, is on Elliott Road on the Love Lane Estate, and is an ambitious project in terms of size and decor, with many of the furnishings coming from Jamie Oliver restaurants in London.
Manager Kay Hancox is already on board, and other staff are currently being recruited.
The idea for the Coffee House came because it was noticed a lot of workers on Love Lane were wandering around with cups of coffee and sandwiches and no where to go.
The Coffee House will be offering drinks, and will start with a summer menu of sandwiches, paninis and salads. They will also have a Mr Whippy machine.
The Coffee House is the latest coffee shop to open in the town, but the team are sure that there is enough business to go around, claiming that local businesses trading on the Love Lane Industrial Estate have lent their support and have already asked if they will deliver lunches to their offices.
It has also used local traders to help build the project, with flooring from Gardiners, building materials from Buildbase in Cirencester and plumbing from Active Plumbing Supplies to name a few.
Rave coffee are also supporting them and they are using their coffee and machines.
Keen to maximise business potential, The Coffee House also plans to be available for private functions.
