Thornbury welcomed new residents to the town in a special event at the weekend.
The event, held at the St Mary Centre on Saturday, gave groups and organisations the chance to meet and talk to local people, especially those living in the town’s new housing developments.
Several of the groups put on performances to showcase what they do and there was also a children’s carousel, music and other entertainment.
Thonbury Scout Group, the Christmas Lights Association and Thornbury Hockey Club were among the groups present.
The event was organised by Thornbury Welcomes, a community group set up to make the town a more inclusive and welcome place, along with the St Mary Centre management team.
