A 34 year old Stroud man will be put on trial after being accused of burgling two houses in the town.
Simon Cross of Hillcrest road is also charged with using threatening and abusive behaviour towards a man on the same date as the two alleged burglaries, March 21.
Cross appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates on March 23 accused of breaking into a house in Frome Park Road and stealing electrical items, cosmetics, jewellery and other personal belongings.
The second burglary charge alleges he broke into a house in Rodborough Avenue and stole coins and foreign currency of an unknown value.
Magistrates committed him for trial at Gloucester crown court on April 12, and Cross will remain in custody until that date.
