A popular coffee shop in Yate is now enjoying providing a brand new menu for customers.

Esquires in Yate opened in the Summer of 2017 right next to the shopping centre.

The cafe was quickly established as one of the best in the area, with fantastic coffee on offer, as well as some brilliantly prepared fresh food.

Amongst the options on the menu was Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, Paninis, sandwiches and much more.

Recently though there were some changes, with a whole host of new options being added to provide something for customers with specific dietary requirements.

This now includes vegan, more vegetarian and also a gluten free selection.

I visited Esquires to try the thing that a lot of people have been raving about in recent weeks.

The full English breakfast on offer was lovely, not too much but a reasonably sized meal.

All food at the store is reasonably priced, in my opinion, given how fresh a lot of the options are.

The breakfast included all the makings of a traditional meal, with a couple of poached eggs, bacon, sausages, a hash brown, a grilled tomato, beans and a couple of slices brown bread.

It was absolutely lovely.

The bacon and sausages were cooked perfectly, with the two poached eggs also being warm and runny.

The beans were also beautiful, they were condensed down nicely so the whole of the plate was not covered in sauce.

I also had a latte with the meal, the staff at the cafe have been described by the owner Dean Widge as some of the best baristas in the area.

This is definitely a fair judgement, with their coffee being rated on Tripadvisor as one of the best in the area.

Esquires atmosphere is what makes it. You get a lot of different people in their at all times during the day.

It is a great place for a family to have breakfast or brunch, a suitable place for people to work on laptops or hold meetings.

I attended on a Friday morning and I didn’t struggle to find a seat, but it was fairly busy. It is a lovely little unit that is decorated in a warm and friendly way.

The staff are all very welcoming and will also greet you with a friendly smile.

Esquires new menu is exciting but they have stayed true to their original values.

A wide selection of fresh food from the original menu is still available and whilst there have been some changes these have been received well by most customers.

It is a great addition to the Yate area and the breakfast certainly gets the thumbs up from us.
