Two men have been charged in connection with a serious assault that took place in Cheltenham over the weekend.
David Cleal, 29 formerly of Bramley Road and Sonny Cruse, 27 of Terry Ruck Close were charged after a 19-year-old man was left with potentially life-changing and life-threatening injuries.
The incident took place in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, April 7 on the Promenade in Cheltenham.
The men were charged with causing grievous bodily harm and will now appear at Gloucester Crown Court on 10 May.
Cleal has been remanded in custody and Cruse released on conditional bail until that hearing.
At this time, the 19-year-old remains in Southmead Hospital.
