Yate Town Council are appealing for community groups in the area to apply for new grants.
The council regularly award grants to non-profit organisations that work to improve the range of services and activities in the town.
In a statement the council said: "The Town Council recognises and supports the valuable contribution made by the voluntary sector to the well being of the community.
"Many groups have benefited from grant assistance in the past including Friends of both Kingsgate and Brinsham Park, Shopmobility South Gloucestershire, Southern Brooks and Hedgehog Rescue to name but a few.
"If your organisation is in need of some financial assistance and provides a beneficial service or activity for the community of Yate you can submit a grant application form to Yate Town Council for consideration."
Application forms can be obtained from the Yate Town Council Poole Court offices or by emailing the info@yatetowncouncil.gov.uk. They can also be obtained from the council website.
