A person that was stuck in an elevator in Tesco Extra in Yate has been freed by firefighters.
Crews arrived at the scene at around 4.30pm and worked for over two hours to try and free the individual.
Two fire engines and an incident response car attended the scene where firefighters forced their way through the metal doors of the lift to get the person out.
One witness said they used hydraulic cutters to get in to the elevator, with the situation finally dealt with by around 6.30pm.
They were unharmed by the incident.
