A woman has been arrested after a number of parked vehicles were broken in to in the Warmley area.
The woman, in her 20's, was arrested on Sunday morning after an alarm was raised in the area.
In a statement, Avon ajnd Somerset Police said: "We have arrested a woman following thefts from parked vehicles in the Warmley area.
"The alarm was raised at 4.30am yesterday (Sunday ) when two people were seen acting suspiciously in the Poplar Road area of North Common.
"They were spotted approaching vehicles and trying doors.
"Shortly afterwards we arrested a woman in nearby Windermere Lane on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles.
"The woman in her 20s has been released under investigaton.
"Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
"We would like to hear from anyone living in the North Common area, whose vehicle has been broken into over the weekend to contact us, quoting reference 5219081042."
