MP for Thornbury and Yate Luke Hall has paid tribute to outgoing PM Theresa May.
The Prime Minister announced her plans to step down on June 7 on Friday.
Luke Hall has always publicly supported May's Brexit deals throughout the process.
He has paid tribute to her service and praised her great 'work ethic'.
“Theresa May has public service at her core," he said.
"I hope will be remembered for her work ethic and her love of our great country.
"The Conservative Party will now elect a new leader, who must ensure we leave the European Union in a quick and orderly way, and deliver on our domestic priorities in South Gloucestershire; on schools, policing, better access to broadband and local health services.”
